Jonathan Dutt Cheetah collaring

2025 is when I started my shift into wildlife and conservation photography. I began this journey with spending two months in South Africa with an organization called Wildlife ACT (African Conservation Team) as part of the Priority Species Monitor team.

The picture on the left was taken during a cheetah collaring. After finding her and her cubs one evening, we had the amazing opportunity to collar CF27 (CF = Cheetah Female) in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park. The collaring went great, and we were able to follow up on CF27 and cubs for a couple of days after to make sure her condition didn’t change.
